The National plant
Show proved to be a fantastic success with 100 exhibitors and the
exhibition busy from the time the doors opened. The British Plant
Fair Market Place an established feature of British Plant Fairs also
proved to be a busy and popular service with over 300 products
displayed and orders placed in excess of £30K.

With
an upgrade in hall to exhibition hall 1 at Stoneleigh Park 2010
dates are Thursday 4th March and Thursday 12th August with a British
Plant fair Market Place at the National Plant Show on June 29th and
30th
02/04/2009 - June 11th Season
Extender
With everything from
Specimen plants to Bedding and Orchids the June fair is set to be a
must visit event for those retailers who want to extend and increase
sales through the summer months. The Market Place will again have a
broad range of stock you can order by the shelf for following week
delivery with one delivery note and one invoice.

5th March 2009
Due to many visitors and some
exhibitors being unable to make the fair on 5th February we have announced a new date for the 5th March all
other details remain the same. Watch

Centres turnout despite the snow
Despite heavy snowfall in the Midlands
through Wednesday night and Thursday morning many garden
centre buyers braved the weather to attend the first British Plant Fair of
2009. the garden centre buyers that made it were upbeat about the coming season
and thought the introduction of the Marketplace was an important move forward
for the fair. One buyer from a chain of garden centres said it allowed
him to sample stock from nurseries he didn't deal with at the moment without
opening more accounts. The Fair organizer Geoff said "A huge thank you
to all the exhibitors and Visitors who came along despite the atrocious
conditions".

goes ahead despite the snow
Snow
fall in the Midlands was much less than predicted last night and all
major roads are open in the
region. The British Plant Fair will continue as planned this Thursday.
19/01/2009 - Over
40 growers now exhibiting
Today saw Hillier Nurseries and Duncan
and Davies add to the ever growing
list of exhibitors for
February's British Plant Fair. The number of growers
showing at the fair is 41
and well over 150 shelves of samples in the
Marketplace area of the
fair.

British
Plant Fair Moves to Stoneleigh Park
The
British Plant Fair is set to move from its home for the past two years
at White
Logistics in Pershore to Stoneleigh Park in
Warwickshire. The new site enables more exhibitors to attend and its
central location makes getting to the show far easier for garden centre buyers. The show
organiser
Geoff Caesar commented on the move:
"The
move from Whites Logistics facility will bring the fair to a larger
audience in a central location and will
provide the opportunity to increase the number of exhibitors"
01/10/2008 - Mix
and Match at the British Plant Fair
2009 sees the introduction of a trolley consolidation facility under the banner of
'The Market
Place'. This will be an area where any nursery can place shelves of stock
available for
sale and where the buyer can make up their order from any combination
of nurseries.
The stock will be sent as a single delivery the following week with just one delivery
note and one invoice no matter how many nurseries the stockis ordered from.

provide a simple one stop shop for garden centre retailers who want
to buy the best
